The FinanciaAssistant at Stillman College plays an important role in providing financial support and assistance to studentsfaculty, and staff. This position is responsible fovarious financial tasks and assisting with ensurinthe efficient operation of the college's business office processes.

 

Job Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • CustomerService: Provide excellent customer service to studentsfaculty, and staff regarding financial inquiries.
  • Data Entry and RecordKeeping:
    • Accurately enter financiadata into the college's financial system.
    • Maintain organized financial records and associated documentation.
  • Accounting and Budgeting:
    • Assist in maintaininfinancial records, includinggeneral ledger entries andaccountreceivable.
    • Assist in financial reporting.

 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills andattention todetail.
  • Excellent communicatioskills.
  • Excellent timmanagement skills with proven abilitto meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s in business or related field oHighSchoolDiploma with at least 2years of relevant financial experience, preferably in higher education setting.

 

Work Schedule (a full-time, 12-month in-person position)

Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (possible variations, such as occasional evening or weekend work depending on the organizational events)

This position is paid on a biweekly basis at an hourly rate of $14.42.
