Description

The Student Success Support Assistant is a temporary, grant-funded position that provides operational and student-facing support for registration, academic success initiatives, and student outreach. This role assists students in navigating the registration process, connecting with campus resources, and staying on track toward academic progress and degree completion. The position supports institutional retention efforts by helping coordinate student engagement activities and providing administrative support for student success programming.


 

Job Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·   Assist students with registration preparation and completion.

·   Provide support during registration periods and other high-traffic student service times.

·   Assist with student outreach related to registration, academic standing, and academic progress.

·   Support Academic Success Center programs and student success initiatives

·   Maintain records of student interactions and support services and assist Registrar ‘s office

·   Collaborate with campus offices such as the Registrar, Financial Aid,, and Student Development.

·   Assist with basic reporting and tracking related to student support efforts and Roaring Forward 

·   Perform other duties as assigned to support student success initiatives.



 

Minimum Qualifications

·   Bachelor’s degree required

·   Strong organizational and communication skills

·   Ability to work effectively with students in a supportive environment

·   Basic computer and data-entry skills

·   Ability to manage multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

·   Experience working with college students or in higher education

·   Experience supporting registration, advising, or student success initiatives


Position Duration: This is a temporary, grant-funded position. Employment is not guaranteed beyond the established term of the position and is contingent upon grant funding availability.
